Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the NDA examination, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

 

Educational Qualifications:

– Army Wing: 10+2 or equivalent.
– Air Force and Naval Wings: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

Application Process:

To start with your NDA application process you have to keep an eye out on the examination notification posted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), twice a year. You must apply within the given time-frame through an online application on the UPSC website. 

 

Exam Schedule:

The NDA examination is conducted twice a year, usually in April and September. Keep an eye on the UPSC official website for the latest updates on exam dates.

 

Examination Procedure:

The NDA exam is a two-stage selection process:

 

1. Written Examination:

– Mathematics: Objective-type questions.
– General Ability Test: English and General Knowledge.

 

2. SSB Interview:

– Intelligence and Personality Test.
– Medical Examination.

The test is conducted bi-annually where through AFCAT candidates are selected for various Air Force branches, including Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical). Eligibility Criteria

For Flying Branch : A must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 60 % & 12th Passed with 60% marks in Physics & Maths.
Age should be between 20 years old to 24 years old.

 

For Ground Duty Technical: Degree from a recognized university with 60 % marks.
Age should be between 20 years old to 26 years old.

 

For Ground Duty Non-Technical: Degree from a government recognized University with Physics, Mathematics, chemistry, statistic, International Relations, Defence studies, Psychology, computer science, IT, Management, Mass Communication etc with a 50% marks in aggregate all papers put together in Post.

Age should be between 20 years old to 26 years old.

Agniveer at Kumaon Defence Academy

Overview:

Holistic development of the candidate is what we aim for at Kumaon Defence Academy. At
Kumaon Our collaboration with Agniveer brings a unique perspective to the training modules, In which our comprehensive curriculum covers NER (Non entry Rate) & MER (Metric entry Rate) syllabus required for Agniveer enrolment such as Math (elementary), English (Essay Writing, Application writing, Explain to the contest etc).

Time Table:

The disciplined structure of our timetable is a crucial aspect of KDA’s success. Our meticulously planned timetable ensures comprehensive coverage of Agniveer exam syllabus, providing students with ample time for self-study, doubt resolution, and physical training. The timetable is designed to optimise learning, enhance time management skills, and prepare students for the demanding challenges of the Agniveer examination. Eligibility Criteria

Educational :
Agniveer (GD): Matriculation with 45% marks.

 

Agniveer (Technical): Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

 

Agniveer (Technical Aviation & Ammunition Examiner): Intermediate exam and
possess a ITI Trade centre.

 

Agniveer Clerk : Intermediate Science, Commerce or Arts with 60%. marks, and
additionally typing skill.

 

Agniveer Store Keeper (Technical): Intermediate with at least 60% marks.
Tradesman: Middle School Examination (Class 8) or Matriculation Exam.

 

 

Age Limit: Not be below 17.5 years and above 23 years.

 

Physical Fitness.
1.6 Km Run: : Up till 5 Min 30 Secs.

Candidates aiming to appear for the Sainik School Entrance Exam should adhere to the following eligibility criteria:

Application Process:

Through the Kumaon Defence Academy website you will keep updated on every notification on the Sainik School Entrance exam. It’s usually the month of October that major notifications about the exam are released. Aspirants can obtain the application forms directly from the respective Sainik School or apply online through their official websites.

Exam Schedule:

Historically the Sainik School Entrance exam is conducted in the month of January. However, we advise the aspirants to keep an eye on specific examination dates released by the respective Sainik School websites.

Examination Procedure:

The Sainik School Exam follows a two-stage selection process:

 

1. Written Examination:

– For Class 6: Mathematics, General Knowledge (GK), Language.
– For Class 9: Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, and Language.

 

2. Interview and Medical Examination:

– Shortlisted candidates undergo an interview and a medical examination as part of the final selection process.
